The Girl With Color

In this project, i wanted to focus very heavily on what goes into making the world beautiful. So i created a world that is dark, desaturated, and sad. In this world i placed a character that could touch things and make them beautiful. But with each colorization, she loses a bit of her own color. She becomes exhausted, to a point where she can do absolutely no more. With this, she lays down in her bed, colorless and sleeps. When the next morning arrives, she awakes, to find that the world has reset to the same point as the beginning of the film, as if to convey to the audience that this is what she does every single day. She makes the world beautiful.

This project was extremely time consuming to edit. I think i spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 38 hours in a two day period rotoscoping different elements in the film.
